Conceptualised in early 2025, this collection reflects Cane Cult’s “slow furniture” ethos — rooted in fair‑pay traditions, natural Teak and rattan sourced across Sri Lanka, and the ripple of Japandi minimalism with an industrial London edge.

Studio Vesh — founders Joost Veldkamp and Cas Schoemaker — bring hand‑crafted Dutch ingenuity, pushing boundaries of form and function with each bespoke piece.

Together, we dive into Sri Lanka’s generational carpentry, reinterpreting it through contemporary European aesthetics — a reverse‑colonial dialogue in design. From raw exotic woods and natural materials to mixed textures, bold forms, and meticulous execution, each of the four pieces is a rare, limited‑edition statement: a cultural conversation shaped in wood, surface, and silhouette — built to be commissioned, appreciated, and treasured.
